PROGRAMS

We bring local food and local folks together

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we thank you for your support. You probably know that good farmers' markets don't just happen... they require planning, funding and plenty of passion! If you want to help create a vibrant, thriving community gathering space in Oak Ridge that is focused on good health, nutrition education and food security, please consider supporting our work.

Food Security

We accept and double SNAP/EBT in all our farmers’ markets. We match SNAP up to $20 per day, in both the Winter Farmers Market and Market-To-Go.

Nourish Kids

Nourish Kids Club is free for children ages 2 to 12 every week at the Winter Farmers’ Market and special events during the summer.

Children receive $5 in Produce Bucks to spend at the market on fresh fruits and vegetables, plus a vegetable sample and fun activity!

Join us as we empower 24 households in Oak Ridge to grow their own food. Tools, seeds, education provided. Read more.

Community Gardening

Join our community mushroom gardening project, and grow mushrooms in your backyard. We hold yearly Mushroom Planting Activities, and offer mushroom logs for sale as available.
